Bolt Contracting Ltd offers a number of environmental services for both large and small scale projects with a proven track record of delivering great results and outcomes. Most of our work takes place in sensitive areas in a range of environments such as wetland, alpine, farmland, forest and urban.
PREDATOR MANAGEMENT
The Path to Predator free 2050
From monitoring and identification through to control and eradication. We work in the control of possum, mustelids, rats and wasp populations specializing in rural pest management in those difficult to reach areas.
PEST PLANT MANAGEMENT
A Comprehensive Approach
The control of pest plants species specifically the control of non-native weed species. This is achieved through physical control (cutting, grubbing, weeding, shading, drilling) and chemical control (knapsack, LUV tank spray, basil spray, cut and paste, drill and fill). The most appropriate method of control is based on project specifics such as site requirements.
PLANTING
Growing a better future
We employ tried and tested techniques to help plan, prepare, carry out and maintain planting projects. Projects include riparian planting, freshwater rehabilitation and erosion control (poplar poles). This is achieved through communication with all relevant parties alongside local knowledge and experience.
